La Saani may collect the information you provide when you check out, message, email, enter a giveaway, apply for a role, or join a restock notification list. This may include your name, email, phone number, delivery address, order details, selected bottle, selected fragrance, fragrance preferences, job application answers, and an optional resume.

Card details are entered into Stripe's secure payment form and are not received or stored in full by La Saani's website or Medusa backend.

Information is used to process and confirm orders, arrange delivery, respond to enquiries, assess job applications, manage giveaway entries, record restock interest, provide customer support, and send messages you have specifically requested.

Contact-form enquiries include your name, email, message and any order number you choose to supply. They are retained in Medusa and sent through our transactional email service so we can respond. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

A phone number entered at checkout is used for order and delivery updates. SMS marketing consent, if offered, is collected separately and is not inferred from checkout.

La Saani may share only the information needed with service providers that help operate the business, including Medusa for commerce, Stripe for payment, website hosting, transactional email, delivery, or social platforms.

For a shipped order, the recipient name, delivery address, email address, phone number, and relevant parcel details may be supplied to Australia Post so it can deliver the parcel and provide carrier tracking notifications. The notifications a recipient receives depend on the contact details supplied and their Australia Post preferences.

La Saani does not sell customer contact details.

The website stores a Medusa cart identifier in your browser so the cart can remain available when you revisit on the same device. If Stripe confirms a payment before the order screen finishes loading, a temporary checkout-recovery record is also stored so the same order can be completed without charging the card again.

To prevent a reload from erasing your progress, the checkout temporarily keeps the contact and delivery fields you enter in that browser tab for up to 12 hours after your latest change. This session-only draft is tied to the current cart and is removed after the order completes. Closing the tab normally clears it. It never contains card details; those remain inside Stripe's secure payment fields.

La Saani uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, traffic sources, product interest, cart activity, checkout progress, and completed purchases. Analytics uses cookies and records browser and device information and an approximate location; Google receives this information and may process it overseas. La Saani does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, or card details to analytics.

For visits identified as Australian, analytics starts automatically. Our server compares the request's IP address with a locally held DB-IP country database; it does not send your IP to a separate location lookup service or request precise device location. This estimate can be affected by VPNs and database accuracy. For other countries, including the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, or when we cannot determine the country, analytics remains off until you choose Allow analytics or we restore a saved acceptance after the location check.

You can turn analytics off using Analytics preferences in the footer and choosing Only necessary. In Australia this choice is not saved: it lasts while you browse within the current visit, and reloading the page or returning starts analytics again. In regions where the site requires consent, your choice is saved in first-party browser storage and can be changed on this page, reached through the footer link. Shopping, checkout and essential Medusa order records still work, and advertising storage and ad personalisation remain disabled.

Under the regional policy introduced on 8 October 2026, previous necessary-only settings are reset and removed as visitors return. Analytics popups are disabled for all regions. Visitors in regions where consent is required can enable analytics using the controls on this page; new choices are saved there. Clearing or blocking browser storage may remove a saved choice. Regional automatic analytics is not recorded as your affirmative consent.

When analytics is enabled, campaign details such as UTM source, medium, and campaign may be attached to the Medusa cart without contact information so La Saani can reconcile acquisition and orders. We distinguish an Australian regional default from an explicit analytics choice. Browser analytics purchases are an operational signal and are checked against the commerce system before financial reporting.

How Google uses information from sites that use its services

Reasonable care is taken with customer, applicant, and giveaway information. Uploaded resumes are stored in private website-hosting storage and are not published as public website files. If you want to access, update, or ask for removal of information you have provided, contact La Saani by email.

At checkout, the optional La Saani Circle checkbox starts selected. Clear it before paying if you do not want to join. Circle benefits include occasional emails about new bottles, fragrance stories and private releases, and automatic entry into all future giveaways. Joining is not needed to buy and is separate from analytics, order confirmations, delivery updates and restock requests. La Saani records the checkout selection, wording, time, source, email, and related order. After successful payment, an email is added to its Brevo marketing list only when the Circle option remains selected.

There is no confirmation-email step. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe. Withdrawing through that link stops future marketing messages and records the withdrawal; it does not stop transactional messages needed for an existing order or support request.

Giveaway entry includes automatic entry into all future La Saani giveaways and email and SMS updates about new bottles, scents, and offers. We retain entry and membership history to prepare one entry per email address for each draw, and keep a dated copy of each final draw list. SMS is recorded only when a valid phone number is supplied. Unsubscribing from Circle marketing emails also stops automatic giveaway entry. You can separately stop automatic entry by emailing info@lasaani.com.au from the address you entered with. A withdrawal does not alter a draw list already finalised. Entering again joins you again.

If you use Instagram, TikTok, email, payment links, or other external services, those platforms may handle your information under their own privacy terms.
